The Tōhoku region of northern Japan. Founded in 850 by the monk Ennin (Jikaku Daishi), it rose to prominence in the 12th century under the patronage of the powerful Fujiwara clan. The temple is best known for its Konjikidō (Golden Hall), a stunning structure entirely covered in gold leaf, which houses sacred images and the remains of the Fujiwara lords. Chūson-ji is part of the “Historic Monuments and Sites of Hiraizumi”, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its embodiment of Pure Land Buddhism ideals.

Tsuko-Tegata is a kind of wooden passport that was used in the Edo Period as an identity card for travelers when passing from region to region. They had been sold a lot in Showa period as mingei type souvenirs all over Japan. It's also a protector for safety and peace for family.
