Lake Inawashiro is the fourth-largest lake in Japan, located in Fukushima Prefecture. It is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, earning it the nickname "Sky Mirror Lake" (天鏡湖, Tenkyo-ko) due to its stunning reflections of the sky and surrounding mountains. Formed by volcanic activity, the lake is situated at a high altitude and remains one of the cleanest lakes in Japan. It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and seasonal birdwatching, especially in winter when swan migrations can be seen.
