The front features bold calligraphy reading 日御碕 alongside an illustration of the iconic white lighthouse overlooking the Sea of Japan. The accompanying inscription references the lighthouse as “東洋一の灯台” (“the finest lighthouse in the East”), celebrating the landmark’s historic prominence and maritime significance.
