SC001 - Vintage Japanese scroll "Bijin-ga" spring

Perfect condition of vintage Japanese scroll with original wooden box. Spring Binin-ga by the artist Juno Mitsui 三井淳夫 (1929-) was born in Kyoto. He is the curator of the Japanese Printmaking Museum and a foreign painter. The eldest son of the Japanese painter Mitsui Bunji created prints under the guidance of Hebei Renmei in Showa 25 and later opened the Printmaking Museum.

Bijin-ga (美び人じん画が, "beautiful person picture") is a generic term for pictures of beautiful women (bijin) in Japanese art.
