Vintage Item never used. These are two lidded teacups made by Fukagawa Seiji, a renowned Japanese porcelain maker. The cups feature a brilliant cobalt blue glaze with delicate white radiating lines, creating a refined and elegant contrast. 

The signature Fukagawa craftsmanship is evident in the smooth finish and luminous quality of the porcelain. Each lid is topped with a small rounded knob, designed to retain the tea’s aroma and warmth.

Fukagawa Seiji (深川製磁) is one of Japan’s most distinguished porcelain manufacturers, renowned for its refined craftsmanship and timeless elegance. The company was founded in 1894 by Eizaemon Fukagawa, a member of a family that had been deeply involved in Arita porcelain production since the early 17th century. Established in Arita, Saga Prefecture—the birthplace of Japanese porcelain—Fukagawa Seiji was created with a clear vision: to produce porcelain of the highest artistic and technical quality, uniting centuries of tradition with a modern sensibility.

Its works remain highly prized by collectors and connoisseurs around the world, admired for their perfect balance of beauty, simplicity, and precision—a true expression of Japan’s porcelain heritage.
