CB187 - Sheep Dorei Clay Bell by Shōfūgama 正風窯

This dorei (clay bell) in the form of a sheep was crafted by Shōfūgama (正風窯), a respected Japanese kiln known for its refined folk art and zodiac-themed creations. Rendered in white clay with gentle curves, the sheep features golden horns and is decorated with a traditional hexagonal crest motif containing seasonal florals and auspicious patterns.

Symbolizing peace, gentleness, and familial harmony, the sheep (hitsuji) is the eighth animal in the Japanese zodiac and is believed to bring prosperity and protection to the household. The red accents and decorative elements enhance its festive aura, while the purple cord adds a regal touch for easy hanging or display.

The bell produces a soft, pleasant chime and comes with its original pastel pink gift box featuring the words 開運招福 ("good fortune and happiness"). A charming and meaningful piece for collectors of zodiac figures or those seeking a symbol of calm and well-being.

Size: 7 x 4 x 7cm
