Fushimi Inari Taisha is famous for its main deity "Inari Omikami" and its messenger "fox". Therefore, earth bells are often made in the shape of foxes, symbolizing the protection and wisdom in Inari faith. The white is the representative colors of the Inari faith, symbolizing purity and holiness.
Caly bells are considered a symbol of warding off evil and avoiding disasters, and can be hung on bags, in cars or at home for protection.
