Elegant Japanese characters brush-painted on the upper torso, a poetic verse. The lower portion features a lovely hand-painted mountain and pine tree scene, evoking traditional Japanese natural motifs and seasonal beauty. This type of omiyage kokeshi was often sold as a souvenir from hot spring resorts (onsen) or rural mountain towns, intended to bring joy and good fortune to the recipient.
