Collection: Hina Dolls

Hina Dolls (雛人形, Hina Ningyō) are traditional Japanese dolls displayed during Hinamatsuri, or Girls’ Day, celebrated on March 3rd. The festival prays for the health, happiness, and prosperity of girls. A typical Hina doll set features the Emperor and Empress dressed in Heian-era court attire, often accompanied by attendants, musicians, and decorative accessories, all arranged on a tiered platform covered with red fabric. Families often pass these dolls down through generations as treasured heirlooms.
