A charming vintage set of small Hagi-yaki (萩焼) plates made by Tenpōzan (天鵬山). Each plate has a softly irregular, flower-like form with gently pinched edges, giving the set the warm and expressive character associated with handmade Japanese pottery.
The plates are covered in a delicate creamy glaze that transitions into pale blush pink and soft white tones. Subtle variations in the glaze, shape and surface make every piece slightly different.
