Vintage item, never used. This is a stylish pair of Mino-yaki 美濃焼 Japanese ceramic free cups from 悠久伝説 Yūkyū Densetsu. The set includes two matching yet contrasting cups, presented in a decorative storage box.
Mino-yaki, one of Japan’s most important ceramic traditions, produced mainly in the Tōnō region of Gifu Prefecture. Mino ware is known for its wide variety of styles, from traditional tea ceramics such as Shino, Oribe, and Setoguro, to practical modern tableware for everyday use.
Each cup has a modern footed form, making them suitable for many uses: Japanese tea, coffee, sake, shochu, water, or small dessert servings. The pair has a beautiful wa-modern 和モダン feeling, combining traditional ceramic textures with a contemporary shape.
One cup features a dark charcoal-black body with horizontal blue-grey glaze accents, giving it a calm and masculine impression.
