This charming 1980s Japanese souvenir is a wooden perpetual calendar from Onigajō (鬼ヶ城), a celebrated coastal landmark within Yoshino-Kumano National Park in Mie Prefecture. Onigajō, meaning “Ogre’s Castle,” is known for its dramatic rock formations shaped over millions of years by uplift, wind and sea erosion.
