Made by Genkichi Saito. He born on May 1, 1885, in Takayu, Zao, Yamagata Prefecture. Eldest son of Tadaharu Saito and Ito, sake brewers. After he turned 70, he would place a \"ju\" (longevity) sign between the flower patterns on the body. Please see the photo 2, it’s written in green color. He passed away on December 21, 1964 at the Yamagata Prefectural Saiseikai Hospital at the age of 80. His funeral was held on January 24, 1965 at Yuhoji Temple in Yamagata City, and a memorial discussion was also held by the Yamagata Prefecture Kokeshi Association.
